Here's a picture of Charlie and Dinero running in the ring.  Dinero is the lighter colored Appaloosa.  He has a big personality and comes running across the field when he's called.  Charlie is a Quarter Horse who is very sweet.  Come and meet them at the Horse Show on March 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

I'm looking forward to the H.O.R.S.E. Horse Show on March 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Why not join us?  The farm is located at 43 Wilbur Road in Washington, CT.  It's a great chance to see all of the beautiful horses who have been rescued and rehabilitated.  Each and every one is truly a miracle.  If you can't make this one, there's another Horse Show on June 2.  Here's a link to the calendar of events - http://www.horseofct.org/calendar.html

It began as a great volunteer opportunity for me and an active and engaged learning experience for my students .  And now I've fallen in love...with Cooper.  I am happy to announce that I have been approved to adopt Cooper!  I still have a lot to learn but I am so excited.

Yesterday my students and I visited the H.O.R.S.E. farm.  It was fantastic to see the students interacting with the horses.  Each student has chosen a horse to write about this semester and yesterday they were able to meet their horses in person.  Very shortly, students will be writing here about their experiences.  Stay tuned!
