Join us for the Save Sadie Tack Sale

Sadie “Mother General” is a 17-year-old registered Thoroughbred off the racetrack who recently came to H.O.R.S.E. of Connecticut after her military family received relocation orders.  Prior to this, her family had made arrangements to donate Sadie to an agricultural high school.  On the way, Sadie was involved in a trailer accident in which her withers and back were injured.  The family, needing to relocate immediately, was unable to afford or supervise care for Sadie.  Help us save her!

THREE CHEERS FOR WILBUR!!!!  One year after coming to the farm so malnourished that he could barely stand up, Wilbur was ridden for the first time in today's H.O.R.S.E. Showing.  That's Grace riding him.  Thanks to everyone who helped out and attended.

Want to learn more about horses? Come to the All About The H.O.R.S.E. Clinic on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at HORSE of Connecticut, 43 Wilbur Road, Washington. There's a $10 fee but it's more than worth it!  And this handsome horse, Charlie, will be there for a riding demonstration.

Cooper and I went riding today with Emily and Butterscotch.  It was so much fun!
