It began as a great volunteer opportunity for me and an active and engaged learning experience for my students .  And now I've fallen in love...with Cooper.  I am happy to announce that I have been approved to adopt Cooper!  I still have a lot to learn but I am so excited.

  1. It is awesome that Dr. D could adopt Cooper! She is going to do a great job taking care of him and I think a lot of the other horses will be jealous. Hopefully more families can continue to adopt. There are a lot of great horses up at the farm. Everyone should take a chance to visit at least once! I can't wait to visit again and see Dara. SHE IS MY FAVORITE HORSE!

  2. I'm so excited for both you and Cooper Dr. D! This is such a great thing and I am sure Cooper is going to be very happy! Hopefully now that Spring is coming with a lot of exciting events going on, this will help some of the other horses get adopted as well! I look forward to visiting the farm again, and seeing my favorite - Charlie!

  3. Cooper is a wonderful loving horse! He would surely be my pick as well if given the chance to adopt a beautiful horse from H.O.R.S.E. Of Connecticut. I encourage animal lovers to visit the farm and donate to H.O.R.S.E. Of Connecticut's wonderful cause! Congratulations Dr. D!
